Another Great Resource and Website

Just like my MathBLOG stresses - MATH is FUN! Here at this website, http://www.mathsisfun.com/, students are able to complete many activities in a variety of math content areas. There are tons of interactive games that can be used to help reteach a lesson. For my classroom, I would use this website as a resource for lessons. There are many activities that come with handouts, cut-outs, and instructions. They have pre-made shapes for a sorting shapes activity that we will do to introduce geometry! There are many lessons that would need minor tweaking, so I will definitely preview lessons before selecting them for my classroom! I want my students to receive the best math lessons possible! Another thing that is great about this website, and something that I will definitely do in my classroom, is the ease of connecting this website and its activities to match other content area: Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies! I can't wait to use this in my classroom!!!!
